I have paraprofessionals but they are out in the gen ed almost all day. Third period that leaves me a lone with 8 students. I am trying to do read 180. 4 of those are really low. They all have autism high functioning. Not sure how to manage this group all by myself independent work is hard for these students. I am hoping to pull an aide in gen ed eventually. But my students who are low are getting left behind. Stephanie Stephanie
I often have the same challenge. I would probably try to do the rotations with all 8 students doing the same thing. You have a group who probably has trouble moving from task to task (or even step to step) without prompting. You may be able to split into 2 groups with one doing the computer excercises.
