I tried to post a new thread but it doesn't allow me. How can I post my question for everyone?
    Thank you!

I found it but when I click on the button to post the thread, a message popped saying "The content you want to post is not allowed".

Oh maybe you have to comment/reply to other threads a certain number of times before you can start your own?

The case that Elora Hervé describes is likelier to be attempting to post either a link (which is not permitted for very new members) or an email address (which is strongly discouraged for all members).

Welcome to A to Z, HoneyBee#3. What roughly is the topic that you want to discuss?

Hi! Thanks so much!! I think I'm with the other person that thought we may have to be a member for awhile to start posting...? There is no button that says "post new thread" anywhere!

Hugs, people. At the top of the page, in the dark menu bar, there's a link labeled Forums. Click on it, and you'll see a list of A to Z's forums. Find one that comes close to accommodating your topic, and click on it. You'll see a list of threads in which someone has recently posted. Now scroll alllll the way down to the end of the page. Near the bottom right, you should see a blue box with "Post New Thread" in white letters. Click on it. If you don't see it, let us know.

(Don't worry too much about getting the right forum. For one thing, it's easy for a moderator to fix. For another thing, most veterans of A to Z don't check for new posts forum by forum: instead, they click on either the New Posts or Recent Posts link at the top of the page to bring up a list of threads in which new posts have been made.)

replying to myself...lol...figured it out. It must have been the content of my post that was restricted. I had included info about my business like a website and an email and it was geared towards marketing.

I'm getting the same error message, "Content not allowed," and I am not posting a URL link to another website nor an email address.
