How much money do you get for a classroom budget?

    I'm guessing that even that first school may have cut back over the past few years. There simply isn't the money there used to be.

    To answer your question, none. But stationery supplies are available for the taking in the bookstore.

    Our school provides copy paper and laminating film. I get to keep $10 from the kids who pay supply money. That's ranged between $80 and $150.

    Waterfall, Does your district have an area where they store good items that are being "retired"? We have a place where we can go to get bookcases, file cabinets, etc. that other teachers didn't want anymore. When they get too much, they sell it. Otherwise, try buying used.

    zero. I have no classroom library for next year and you know what I'm not buying any books for it. We took a 3% cut last year and I just don't have the funds for it. I'm pretty crafty and am making some things from pineterest that will help to keep organized. Total cost to me will be about $35.
