(We did go to 4 corners but travelled across all 4 states as well)
I've spent time in: California, Colorado, Florida, Georgia, Indiana, Maine, Michigan, Minnesota, New York, North Dakota, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Vermont, and Wisconsin. I've passed through and/or stayed overnight in several more.
Every state East of the Mississippi River - favorite places have been Asheville, NC - Newport, RI - Franconia, NH - St Johnsbury, VT - and of course my home state of VA

I've been through or stayed in most states with the exception of a few East Coast states. Hawaii is my favorite state in the winter. Alaska is my favorite in the summer. My most memorable road trip was from South TX to AK. Within about an hour of the trip, I saw a big sign that said, "Welcome to Mexico." I took a turn in the wrong direction! It is nothing short of a miracle that I made it here.
