no, smalltowngal, unfortunately it's not. we're just losing people from our towns, because we're so small and not close to any larger towns with jobs to offer. about 20 years ago we were two districts and we combined, putting the elementary in one school and the hs in the other. about 5 years ago we had to close the elem. school and all came over to the hs. this year we have 47 in k-12 and it just isn't good for the children anymore. it's hard to find teachers, offer subjects in the hs, etc. so we're going to either combine with another district or shut our doors, depending on how the public votes in Oct.
