Right now, I'm on board with 1 Catholic school.

What about the rest of you?

I have not subbed in any Catholic schools. My one public district keeps me busy enough.

I sub in at least 3 private schools through Kelly Educational Staffing along with my pubulic school district. Kelly sends me to Charter Schools too. Terry G.

I only sub for the public school district here, so no private schools for me. How different are they? There was only one private school in my hometown, so I don't have much experience with them.

I don't think private schools are a whole lot different from the public ones though I do feel the kids are better behaved and more pleasant to deal with. Not only are they more pleasant to deal with, but I tend to find them easier to control too. Respect actually means something to the kids at a private school.

Oh, and I can't forget pay! Pay is significantly lower at a private school than it is at a public school. The public schools pay me anywhere from $85 to $95 dollars for a full day of work whereas the Catholic school is paying me $77 for that same full day of work.
