How many pieces of candy (probably for Halloween!) are you eating a day?

I just bought our's today and I've already had about 4 Reese's cups and 2 little bags of M and M's. We don't keep much candy around the rest of the year so I really enjoyed every bite! But, if i keep it up I will have to buy more by Saturday which would be a huge no no!

    hehehe....

On a side note, it was odd seeing a huge aisle full of Christmas decorations and then a few aisles over all of the Halloween candy. One holiday at a time, please!

I hate that! I'm not ready for Halloween, let alone Thanksgiving and I don't want to even think about how I will afford Christmas (sigh...).

As to candy - none yet - I know myself too well so I won't buy it until the last minute, though I will probably get some from kids thi s week and have a few.

4 mini bags of M&M's - that only equals one regular bag right? ;)

Usually I would have eaten a bag or two by now, but since I'm on a diet, I'll be buying mine on Saturday morning.

I haven't opened our Halloween candy yet (and I've had it since the beginning of October - quite a feat!) but I did have a chocolate bar today in honor of National Chocolate Day (and PMS, heh). I usually keep sugar free dark chocolate Hershey minis in the fridge for when I need a chocolate fix.

If you wait until the end of the week to buy Halloween candy, you may be out of luck - our Stop and Shop already has their Halloween display down and their Christmas candy out. Walmart was taking theirs off the shelf tonight when we were there. So ridiculous!!

None here. I haven't bought any. I am diabetic and on WW, so don't want to have the temptation. I bought toys for the trick or treaters because I can't trust myself.

I have been using candy corn in class for activities for the last couple of weeks. That means I get a piece when I hand a child a piece, doesn't it?

I played some of the activities on mathwire.com and invented some of my own for reading. I'm trying to jazz things up in my room right now because we are so cramped and have no available space to do centers. I figure I can do some fun activities while they are sitting at desks, on the floor, and hanging from the rafters to take their mind off of our situation right now.

Yeah, I bought the little play-dohs and stampers to give away this year! I really am not a candy eater, but somehow when it's there-it just calls to me. I've had to go out and buy replacement bags in the past by the time Halloween actually came!

KinderCowgirl, I am guilty of doing this. I had to buy more candy this year.

Mistake #1 I bought candy 3 weeks ago for Halloween.
Mistake #2 I bought candy that I like.
Mistake #3 I opened the bags.

So I went to the store this week to get more candy. I decided to buy candy that I didn't like.

We won't buy any because we live in the country. On Saturday, we will "buy" our kids candy from them because despite our best brushing/flossing/rinsing efforts, my oldest has awful teeth (even our dentist is frustrated...it's like her teeth are sugar magnets...we have pretty much banned all sticky/sweet foods, and still, cavity, cavity, cavity). So we let them each pick about 5 or 6 pieces, and buy the rest with a toy of their choosing. Really cuts down on the sugar intake.

BUT...you know who ends up with the candy in this transaction...I usually send it with my dh to work. Let his office guys get fat!

Okay, I broke down and bought some candy just in case I ran out of toys. But, I made a big mistake and ate one. It made me very sick==I am diabetic. And, it caused a "eat everything in the house" cycle. I now have my glass of Crystal Lite and just had a sugar free ice cream--and am beating myself up for being a dork.

I swear I could eat myself into a sugar coma if I bought any candy. I'm scared that the day after Halloween candy sale will drive me to buy it all!!

I ate a whole bag of candy yesterday in one sitting while trying to work on report cards yesterday. I say trying because it took 2 hours for someone to come help us. The report cards were out of date.

I have lost count-feeding frenzy!! Plus, I have had at least 6 Lofthouse cookies today...sugar high!Only 2 left to eat!! I hope that we get some trick-or-treaters. I have regular size bags of m&m's...guess I can empty them and use them for cookies!! My street is mostly adults and snowbirds-many aren't here yet. I have only seen 2 high school students in the 11 months we have lived here!! But, it is a dead end street with about 50-60 homes, so maybe they will come! It's over 90 so they won't be cold!!I enjoy Halloween and the extra hour with the time change will be nice in the morning!!

We have candy where I work. We give it out to the students during holidays/finals/special events (I work at a college). But it's little snack size candy. Sometimes I go months without eating any. Sometimes I eat a couple a day. :)
