How Hot is it in your neck of the woods

forget my post yesterday-humidity is back up! Storms have been rolling through too. Finally had rain after two weeks of none at all...not enough though!
 
Power is still out for 142,000 here in the state capitol. It doesn't help that we've had thunderstorms every evening since Friday and are expecting them through Wednesday. We had another sizeable storm yesterday, which knocked out power for 20,000 more people. The storms have helped with the heat and has made it possible to sleep.

High today is expected to be in the mid-90s.

Hemet is out in the desert! It's always much hotter there than anywhere near the coast. The highest we've gotten around here is near 80, but now we're back to a breezy low 70s. We're very lucky. The best thing is that we don't have high humidity, so it doesn't feel disgusting in heat. We are so very spoiled. :sorry:
 
We have power again! Well, my house does at least. Ready to face the upper 90s were expecting the rest of the week.
 
It has been in the 80's here. Sometimes the humidity can be up to 100%. So don't expect your hair to stay in place all day. Otherwise it is great (especially on days when it isnt so humid).
 
Dang Have to break out the sweaters for the 4th of July with be a cold 94° and an over night low of 79° I am getting shivers just thinking about it, the humidity is starting to creep up it is 48% when we hit 55% it becomes monsoon season 'but if it hits 50% I think I'll sell' and take my profits before it gets taxed (oops thought I was talking about the economy for a minute)
By Saturday we will be back to a balmy 107° with an over night Low of 84°
 
We have been in the triple digits, and the humidity has been way up there making it feel even hotter. No relief in sight until after the weekend (maybe).:(
 
I think it was around 101 feels like temp of 105+!!! It's going to be in the triple digits for the next few days and then back into the 80s next week!!! We need rain so bad. We did a couple sparklers last nite on our wet cement...usually we have our own little show, but it's too dry!!!
 
101 here, but feels like 110. It cools off to low 70s at night, but then the humidity rises to over 90%...
 
Talked to fam where we usually go swimming..pool is about 90!!! It does have a deep enough end for a diving board.... I asked if it was like swimming in the bath tub!!! LOL!!!! We haven't been just too hot to be outside!!!
 
Right now it's 93 with a feels like temp of 104. I've spent most of the day inside. The only two exceptions were to take the dog for her very short walk and run to the bank to get quarters to do laundry. It has been like this since Thursday of last week and the now excessive heat warning is in effect until 7pm tomorrow. Blah.
 
Relief is in sight starting Sunday here. Monday and Tuesday are supposed to be in the low 80s. Of course, next week is my busiest week of the summer...

Going to cool down here...Yay we can blueberry pick again...then I'll freeze them for the season... So if I want to make like a blueberry crumb cake in the fall I can!!!
