How do you organize your students language arts work?

    Binder? Folder? Notebook? Combination? My system isn't working for me and I would appreciate your thoughts!

    I like a chronological notebook that is used for everything. Loose papers are glued in after being graded. This works well for parent conferences and peer reviews. It also keeps students aware of their cumulative work. I grade some individual assignments and use a rubric to periodically grade the notebook itself. I keep a master teacher's version for each class to help me with grading.
