I had an interview earlier this week and I really felt it went well. The principal and panel nodded their heads a lot when I answered questions and the principal even smiled a lot and said she could tell that I was excited about teaching. At the end of the interview she said that they would interview more candidates this week and next week before making a final decision.... IDK if I got the job or not... So worried...I wish I could get a call from other schools for interviews... sorry i'm venting.:sorry:

You really can't know for sure. And so much depends on who else interviews. Many years ago I had a really fabulous interview (I felt) at a prestigious Jewish school. After the interview they took me to meet the rabbi and things seemed very positive. I found out a few days later that they hired a candidate with Ph.d. This was for a kindergarten position.

Waiting is hard but you'll know soon.

It can be hard to tell....When I interviewed prospective teacher candidates years ago for an alternative cert. program, we were trained to just "smile and nod" no matter what the candidate was saying....
