We met on OKCupid.com. We talked for about a month online and finally met up one day. We started dating immediately and have been together for almost 2 years now.
We were both conned by my ex-husband... Me, romantically and my current husband, financially! It was a long, painful discovery, but we helped each other heal and we're smarter and better for it! (We've got a story fit for LMN TV!)
We met in HS working on the school musical (I had just started dating his best friend!). We married after college and this summer will be our 33rd anniversary. We have two great daughters. I am a lucky woman!
This is pretty much me haha. We met on the same site in December, met in March in person, and were together by April 2013. We just moved into a new apartment together
My husband and I met working at a summer program for gifted teens. In 2002, he carried my suitcase upstairs. We lost touch a bit after that summer, but in 2004 we got back in touch (I started reading his LiveJournal) and we started dating. In 2009, we got married. Right now we are living in that same dorm where we met working at that same program.
We met at a crowded bar, during the performance of a live rock band. The place was crowded and I bumped into him on purpose. I'm pretty sure he still doesn't know it was on purpose. Lol. We dated for two years and have been married for fifteen. ETA - We were in our 20s when we met.
I met mine at work...a job I had while in college. We were in our mid 20s at the time. I was still dating my previous BF (that I met on a past job), so when we broke up, I started dating my current BF pretty quickly & we've been together ever since.

We were in the same dorm (genders were grouped by "suite" in each of the "stacks") -- started dating about 3-4 months after initially meeting. That was about 10 1/2 years ago (wow...), and we've now been married for almost 3 years (after a 2 year engagement).

A friend of mine knew him from her time teaching in his hometown. When she learned he would be doing an internship in the town I live in, she put us in touch with each other. We were both in our mid 20s. We talked and hung out as friends for a few months, dated for about 6 months, were engaged for a year, and are coming up on our first anniversary.
At a small get-together my friend's girlfriend was having at their shared rental house. We were in our early 20's. it took about a year before we were romantically involved. We married secretly in 1995, so this year will be our 20th anniversary (though most would only think it was our 15th).
Met in a French class, were set up by a mutual friend. I was 27 she was 24. We've been together 5.5 years, married for 4.5.
In Texas you either meet at a dancehall or a rodeo. We met at a dancehall. Dated for about 6 weeks. I was 19 he was 29. He broke up with me and really did break my heart. He said I was too young. . So fast forward 3 years later same dancehall he walks in and I haven't let him out of my sight since. We have been married 24 years and have 4 wonderful kids.
I was 14, and had a huge crush on his best friend. I was supposed to meet the best friend after a basketball game, but he didn't show. Hubs did though, and dried my tears. We've been inseparable ever since that night (Dec. 30, 1992). Married in 1999, 3 kids and 3 dogs, and we're still living the dream!
No current SO/spouse but the ex and I met at college. I was 18, he was 25. Dated for 2 years before getting married. Married 11 years before our divorce.
He's my ex now, but it's still a funny story. In 1974, I was in the Tennessee marching band, and we went to Memphis to play Ole Miss. We were staying in a hotel in downtown Memphis. Some friends of mine in band were from NJ, and had a friend from NJ who attended college in Memphis, so they called him to come to the hotel where we were staying and go out for some Memphis BBQ. I was in my hotel room, ready to turn in for the night, wearing a housecoat my grandmother made from drapery material, and had pink foam rollers in my hair. These friends and their pal from NJ came to my door and asked me to go out to eat. I said no, but their friend went back to his dorm, called his mom, and said he found the girl he was going to marry. The next night, we did all go out. I didn't like him, but I gave him my phone number just to see if he'd call. He did call every night, and we got married 2 years later.
Methodist youth club. I was 13 she was 12. I am now 58 and she 57 and this year we celebrate our 37th wedding anniversary.
I met Sweets on match.com. I had been casually dating someone else the summer before, but he wasn't ready to commit and cut things off. I felt sad for a short time and eventually decided to try match. Sweets saw my pic and started chatting with me. We spent about a month talking on the phone or chatting on the computer before we met. A year and a half later we got engaged. A year and a half later we exchanged vows. We are now about a year and a half into the marriage. Our 2yr. anniversary will be in October.
We met the "old fashioned way" - in a bar. I was 31. She was a 21 year old college student. Quite a stunner, I might add. Started dating the next day. Needless to say, I instantly became the envy of all my friends. Our 20th anniversary is next month, she's still a stunner and I'm still the envy of all my friends.
She and I found ourselves as office mates in grad school about 18 years ago. Doctoral program in Classical Studies. She was 24 and I was 26. I guess we hit it off.
I was good friends with his mom and older sister. I met them through church. We met when I was 20 and he was 16. I always avoided him for three years because I thought that he was interested in me. I spent a year travelling when I was 23. When I returned back home, I was prepared to keep avoiding him, but then I noticed that he had gone from a short, scrawny 16 year old to a tall, dark, and handsome 20 year old about to graduate college two years early. We started dating when I was 23 and he was 20. We got married very quickly and we've been together for 3 years now.
A dating site. Been together for a year and a half. Our first "date" was at Starbucks, to make sure neither of us were serial killers. So far, so good. Oh, and I was 33, he was 27.
I double dated with his best friend. He was the "other" guy. His friend was cute, but immature. After two dates I wanted to kill him. My best friend wanted to date him, but she was just 16. Her mom made me go on the date with her and he agreed to be my date. We hit it off and we were engaged 7 months later. And married a year after that. And the original date was a groomsman in our wedding.
We met at the start of our freshman year of college through mutual friends, we became a couple just over a year later, and we have been together for almost 8 years! We live together now; just waiting for the bling
I met my husband in college when we were undergrads, Computer science majors. He actually was my tutor when he was taking a practicum course. Married right after college, that was 17 years ago. We got divorced a few years later and then re-married a couple of years after that. Been together ever since.
