    Hi :)

I can not get into my classroom until later in the month, and am trying to work on things from home. I need to replace my homemade higher order thinking poster, but do not have the template to use (can see it in my head sitting on my counter!)

So, I am either looking for a website w/ higher order thinking words/phrases for questions, or printable posters. What I had was a question mark cut out of poster board, and I had each of the steps written on a card. The kids could then pull a card, and have sample starts to questions that are higher order.

    Anyone have any sources? Thanks!

These are a couple of websites / documents I found that might be helpful:

    http://www.wcdsb.edu.on.ca/ps/newsletter/pdf/2006/feb/higher-order.pdf

    http://xnet.rrc.mb.ca/glenh/hots.htm

    http://pm.appstate.edu/~goodmanj/4401/peerteach/questions.htm

Hopefully, these will help you a little bit. These are some of the sites I found to be useful. I haven't seen a printable poster of any kind, but I'm interested to see one if someone else has one! :)

*The first one was the one that I have found to be most useful, but others may have different ideas.
