I am taking more classes for that fabulous pay raise and currently taking a class that requires a research project based on a HOT TOPIC. (Sound exciting???) Well, after perusing the boards recently, a recent HOT TOPIC has been about reading. No more reading groups- Independent reading only, The Daily Five, etc.... I haven't had the chance to read anything about these topics...just skimmed what has been mentioned. I have "The Book Whisperer", "The Daily Five", and a few articles. (Must have 5 references!!) I am trying to think of an overall HOT TOPIC relating to these topics...Any suggestions?? This is what is roaming around in my brain: Reading Workshop in Question Guided Reading vs. Independent Reading New Trends in Reading Also...anyone have any other current reading resources to use for this research project??
