    Hello!
How do you all manage homework. I'm coming from teaching 2nd grade and what we/I did was have homework packets where the kids on Monday took home their packet and turned it in on Friday. This was so easy to manage.
I'm wondering in 4th grade should I have homework to be turned in daily for them to be more accountable. What do you think?
    Thanks in advance.

I am going to require content homework (homework that relates to the specific concept we studied) be turned in the next day. I am also going to try and incorporate the 100% Homework Club in my classroom to see if this helps encourage homework to be turned in.

How does your 100% Homework Club work?

I actually came across it while searching other teacher's websites...But for students who turn in their homework 100% of the time for a month they will be in the Homework Club. For students who do it 100% of the grading period, will be in the Homework Hall of Frame. I will do some kind of special award to honor those students...

Great idea! I definately plan on using it. Late homework and not turning in homework is one of my big pet peeves. Hopefully this will motivate those forgetful students. :)

What an awesome idea, the 100% homework club. I love it. Thanks!
