How is everyone's pregnancy going lately? Especially you lucky girls with those twins!! (I am a fraternal twin myself, but so far it looks like this PG at least won't be multiples)... I had my first appointment on Friday, and it was SUCH a relief. We finally got to see the little cub and we could clearly see his or her heart beating nice and strong. So far, so good! I am at 9.5 weeks right now and feeling OK...still feeling a little pukey and VERY tired, but excited to leave the first trimester behind in a couple weeks. I haven't actually thrown up yet and I'm hoping that the worst is past....knock on wood.... So far we have only told close family and friends, but I think this week we are going to let the cat out of the bag. I think a lot of people suspect it anyways (not sure why or how -- except all of our friends have baby fever right now). Anyways, hope you are all doing well. Let us know how things are going!!
I'm 12 weeks. Apparently I get to see what they are in 2.5 weeks...but I'm a bit skeptical. Still feeling kinda sick even with my nausea meds. Bad smells are even worse. I'm not on bed rest anymore...so I'm glad I can move around and exercise some. I had to move up a size in pants My others still fit...but were tight on my stomach. The bigger ones I still had from before I lost weight...so they are saggy in some areas, but fit my stomach...joy...lol Money is very tight, so I'm having to watch what I buy...and bills are ridiculous...over 2k. With no full time job...it's hard. I'm hoping to get a seasonal job, like Giraffe did a Michael's...that would be fun for me. I've been working at dealership part-time b/c the main receptionist had a heart attack...but she will be back in a few weeks. I'm glad she is ok.
st- have you bought a bella band? It goes over your regular pants and that way you won't have to buy maternity pants (or shouldn't for a while). My friend who had twins through a surrogate never had to buy pants for the surrogate. I suppose if you gain too much weight in your legs (or butt) it won't work  And, careful on the wishing for a seasonal job. I hate it and it was only 1 day. I am hoping tomorrow will be better....
I just need some money...lol...I'm sure I will hate it I've heard of those bands, but haven't relaly looked into it...I will now...thanks
ST, I hope your nausea starts to go away soon! I know what you mean about the smells--but it could be worse. When my mom was pregnant with my baby sister, she got sick even seeing pictures of food. Glad to hear you're off bedrest, too
Jeky~it seems like everyone I know is pregnant now, but not me! :haha: When my sister was pg with my nephew, I knew she was before she told me. I just knew!! Good luck with the pgs!
I'm 10 weeks right now and we go to hear the baby this Wednesday! We're so excited! Luckily I haven't really experienced nausea but I have been ravenous! My SO can finally notice my little bump, I'm now in the awkward stage of showing versus not showing.
Wish I was pregnant!!! I have two grown kids and would love to go back and relive those days, not necessarily the pregnancies but having little kids that were "mine" in the house. My kids take "my" grand kids home with 'em. st, I bet you could buy some wide elastic and make some of those bands a whole lot cheaper.
I'm nine weeks. We just had our first ultrasound on Friday and got to hear the heartbeat! We haven't told anyone yet, we're waiting until Thanksgiving. I was just really tired until six weeks, then I was very very nauseous for a few weeks, now I'm starting to feel better but am constipated. :-(
I will be 19 weeks on Thursday, and we have our ultrasound on Thursday to find out what we are having. We are beyond excited! Overall, I was just tired a lot. I've been pretty up and down too emotionally but no major nausea or other health concerns.
Kids and Pups, I feel for you because I'm experiencing the same thing right now. Those prenatal vitamins are reeking havoc on that part of my health.
ST...I have a billion pairs of pants and jeans that I don't wear. I'm a few sizes bigger than you, so a few pairs of my jeans would probably fit you for a while yet. Let me know if you want them.
Hey everyone! I haven't posted in months because I have been sooo tired. I miss you all though! update on me: I'm 31 weeks and I'm having a little boy. Congrats to everyone!
uclalum - congrats on the little boy!!!! So for everyone who is farther along -- at what point, if any, did you start getting some of your energy back? I am so tired of being completely drained after work...I come home and literally sit on the couch and nap until I go to bed (and somewhere squeeze in dinner and a shower).... tell me it gets better!!!
bf has been telling his customers I'm expecting twins...wtf...I think he is trying to use it to get the car sale...ha
EVERYONE is pregnant!! Ha! There were two announcements on my Facebook yesterday of friends, and that doesn't include the several that we already knew about. Plus all of you! Congrats to all!!!!
June 3 here! Although it will be the end of May because I am a scheduled C-section (oh, joy!). And I'm doing ok. Extremely, unfunctionally, devastatingly tired, but ok.
Oh, and every time I see the title of this thread, I think of Beyonce..."all the pregnant ladies, all the pregnant ladies, oh oh oh oh oh oh..."
I'm June 11th (my little brothers birthday, how neat would that be). We're going to hear the baby's heartbeat tomorrow hopefully. Kcjo13, I feel the same way. No sickness but oh so tired. Got home from my second job today and almost bit SO's head off because I'm so grumpy too. Whoops.
