Hi everyone, I've told you about the Brownie Points system I use for classroom participation, etc., and that I plan to include a behavioral component this year (a student gets so many points if they don't receive a "comment card" about their behavior), etc., etc. I would like to think of a better name for the Comment Cards (rather than, um, comment cards). They have little stop signs on them, if that helps any. They just ask the student to say why they received the card (they check the boxes that apply) and then they have to write their "plan" for improving their behavior. Any ideas? "Comment Card" just seems so boring. Oh, and it's for high school students, so . . . . Thanks.
How about "Stop Sign"? I can imagine saying, "You will get 5 points if you finish the week with no Stop Signs."
I was thinking of something with Remark... I can't find the Brownie Pt system... have you done this before?
Perhaps using your last name? "Please remember to turn in your Wilson cards." If you have a very long/difficult to pronounce last name: "Please turn in your G-cards."
Thanks, guys! DizneeTeachR, if you send me your email address in a PM, I'll email the Brownie Points stuff to you. I used it last year, and it really seemed to work well.
