Has anyone ever made stepping stones from cement with your kinder class?? I will be attempting this tomorrow and wondered if you have any tips or suggestions.

No, I purchase planter trays and Quickrete 5000 cement. I have the tiles and things to decorate with. I am just not sure if I should mix the whole batch and do the whole class together or split this up over a few days and do 6 kids at a time. I have no idea what I have gotten into :D

What are you mixing in? You are going to need a wheelbarrow and a hoe to mix if you are doing the whole bag...it gets quite heavy and hard to mix...do you have help?

Just an aid. We are going to use a wheel barrow and hoe to mix. I purchased 3 bags of mix. I have 16 kids. I only have 4 days to complete them in.

So have the kids put the tiles in upside down in the bottom of the trays. Mix the cement and scoop into each tray. You won't be able to do handprints this way, but it will be quicker and you'll only make one mess.;)
