    Hi there ~

I'm making up little end-of-year gifts for my kids and I need some help with clever sayings to go along with items in the gift. I'm planning to print out a cute little explanation card for each item in the gift. So far I have:

A bucket and shovel because I really "dig" you.
A fan because I think you're so "cool".
Some gum because I know you'll be "stuck" in my heart.
Smarties candy because you're so "smart now!
A pencil and paper so you can always do the "write" thing.

    I need help with:
    Bubbles
    Sidewalk Chalk
    Stickers
    Book
    Tie-dye t-shirt
    Sunglasses

I found these buckets on sale at Michael's for $1 and wrote "We had 'BUCKETS' of fun in kindergarten!" on the outside, along with their name. They're so cute!! :)

    Thanks for any help!!

Wow, pretty impressive year-end gifts! I'D like one! How about for the chalk, "so you can do the 'write' thing." And for the bubbles, something about "your bubbly personality".

Oh wait, I see you already used the "write thing." Never mind ...

Thanks for the help so far!

I think for the chalk I might do: so you can make your "mark" on the world.

I hope they'll be impressive to the kids, but really most of the stuff I've picked up throughout the year on major clearance at Wal-Mart or the dollar stores. Oh, and the books are free w/ my scholastic points. I figure I've probably spent about $3/kid or so. (I only have 14.) :)

Stickers to remind you to "stick" with your education in the future.

The shirt so every time you wear it you will remember the great times we had together.

The book to remember to keep on reading.

Congratulations on your great buys. Your students are very lucky.
