Help w/Application Question

    Here's a question on an application that has me a little baffled...I have a general idea of what they are asking, but I could sure use a more "layman's" interpretation of what's being asked:

    "Describe the manner in which you would use established curricular standards and available assessment data to inform your instruction."

    Sounds like they want to know wether you know the standards and also how and when to reteach. teachyjak

    I think they're asking how you would let the standards and assesments for your state guide your leading. Basically: once you know what you need to teach, where do you go from there?

    I agree. They want to make sure that your assessment will drive instruction.
