    Hi Forum!

I was just watching American Idol and thought it would be fun to create a Grammar Idol game to play with my middle schoolers. I googled it and found a few sites that referenced the same, but no details were listed. Any ideas?

    Thanks!

I do a Poetry Idol where students read a poem from their portfolios. The class "calls" in to vote for the students and we have a Hollywood week. The best poems are then read to the "panel" where the Poetry Idol is chosen. It works great and goes the same amount of time as the show by the time we go through creating a poetry portfolio and picking through the rounds. :) I hope you get some more great ideas!

That is such a cute idea!
I'm hoping to teach English, and I'm always looking for creative ways to spice up the subject for students.
