Several years ago I read a story about different animals who went to schools that focused on skills the animals didn't possess, so the animals failed- because they were not taught according to their needs. For example, a bird going to a school that focused on running did not do well there. And the woodchuck who found himself in flying school plain-out failed! Anyway, I've lost the story, and I don't know where to even start looking for it. So, I'm turning to you all out there in forum-land. Has anyone else read this story? Does anyone have it, or know where I can get it? Am I making sense? I don't remember the story well enough to describe it, so of course I don't remember it well enough to rewrite it for or tell it to students! Thanks for any help you can share!
