My classroom library also doubles as the cubby area near the entrance of my classroom. It is a small-ish space with no wall access (the cubbies are the walls and students need to be able to access them).

I also have a preschool writing desk in there with shelf/chairs on one side and little red bench on the other.

My problem is making this a cozy space where children can read but are also visible (for safety reasons) within space limitations.

I'm lucky to have a decent ordering budge, so I'm wondering if anyone can anyone recommend some really good space-saving furniture for classroom library that also fits the other criteria (cozy and keeping children visible)? Or can anyone give me suggestions for how you arranged a small classroom library?

    Thanks!

I have a shelf with a few boxes of books along one side. I'd like to replace it for next year. I'm thinking about ordering this; has anyone else had it in their classroom?
