Okay ladies and gents, I need serious help coming up with one more song for our Kindergarten Graduation slideshow. So far, I have Let Them Be Little by Billy Dean and Return to Pooh Corner by Kenny Loggins. Last year we used Butterfly Kisses and I Hope You Dance, so those are out.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

What about "Somewhere Over the Rainbow" by Israel Kamakawiwo'ole? It's that slow version that has been used on ER, in 50 First Dates, and in that new card commercial with the 2 little girls and their parents.

    Kindergarten Graduation Songs

Last year I did a wonderful end of the year slide show with 2 songs. The first was "Thank God for Kids" by the Oak Ridge Boys and the other was "I Believe the Children are the Future" by Whitney Houston.

"Child of Mine" by Carole King makes me cry every time! I'm going to use it on mine.

Not to diminish some of the suggestions, BUT
Songs like Wind Beneath My Wings, I don't think should be used.
It was also used/still used for funeral or Memorial services. It was used at the school for a Mother's day and it was used for a mom who passed away memorial service!!!

What about what a Wonderful world. - Many covers of this one
These are the special times ( can't remember if it's to Christmassy though) - Celine Dion

I love Puff the Magic Dragon (I know I know, grownups say it's a drug song) but to me, its all about an imaginary world of a boy.
I also saw a great presentation with "I Believe I Can Fly".

Thanks for all the great suggestions! I can't do anything with much of a religious reference and I don't want to do anything too sad. Rainbow Connection is on the same Kenny Loggins CD that Return to Pooh Corner is on, so I probably won't do that one. I'm going to go listen to a few of these and I have to make a decision, quick!

I appreciate you all making such great suggestions. Decisions, decisions!

I just listened to one Snowflake by Greg and Steve and I am going to use that one for my slideshow this year. Sings about how each one of them is special.

We are using "We are the Young," and "May There Always Be Sunshine," along with "What a Wonderful World." The first one, our music teacher gave to me, so I'm not sure where it came from, but the second one is on a Dr. Jean CD and Raffi does a version of the 3rd.

I ended up using Let Them Be Little, Return to Pooh Corner and Josh Groban's You Raise Me Up. It was timed perfectly with the Josh Groban song. It was like it was meant to be!
