I passed the math portion of the EL 5001 subject tests but now I need to pass, 5002 LA, 5004 SS, 5005 Science. I am trying to find the right resources that will lead me to successfully passing these tests but so far the more study guides I buy the more confused I am getting. Please do not hesitate to share any tips that you might degree is worth nothing without passing these tests...Thanks

Hello! I Am also about to prepare for the elementary sub tests and I do not know where to begin studying or what resources to use. Math being one of my weakest points,I just passed the praxis core math section and I am wondering if the elementary education math is similar/different material than the core?

    Welcome to A to Z, Rose7 and ctteacher2015!

Rose7, it's generally the case that there's a fair bit of overlap between a state's basic-skills math test and its elementary-education math test, in that you can count on seeing problems that will require computation with integers, fractions, decimals, and percentages. Elementary-education math questions are likelier to require multiple skills to be applied at the same time, and they're likely to feature somewhat more sophistication in algebra and geometry.

Let me recommend looking through threads on other states' tests - math really doesn't differ that much from one state to another; you're likely to find some useful resources.
