I'm going to have two tutoring students next week, possibly for just one week. One is in 9th grade, one is in 10th grade. I won't have their regular assignments available for several days, so I have to come up with something on my own. I haven't taught this subject in the classroom, so I was wondering if anyone could suggest either a short story or novelette, or some grammar lessons, maybe a writing lesson, that would be worthwhile for the interim period.
