Anyone ever tried them? Tyra Banks had them on her show today. They are constructed, down to the off center inseam, to give the illusion of about 2 sizes smaller jeans. Plus they use a special fabric.

Good grief! They're $180! No thanks, I'll just deal with looking the size I am.

I think it makes more sense to just lose the weight and get to where I want to be.

That way I'll look better in all my clothes.

Were those the ones that fit like a 2nd skin? I had a pair & loved them. No way would I wear them now!

No thanks! I'm already a size smaller on the bottom than on the top. If I looked two more sizes smaller on the bottom, I'd look HUGE on top. I have broad shoulders and a large bust. I don't need skinny legs.

I didn't even wear skinny jeans in the 80's when I was young enough to be wearing them. I looked too top heavy in them.

This will sound so mean, but if I'm being honest... The more likely that Tyra would wear something, the less likely I would. Besides that little rule, I wouldn't wear skinny jeans at any size.

They don't seem to show what the jeans look like on normal sized people.

Just looked at them. This page of their site is just obnoxious.

I felt like I was looking at an Anorexia web page. Nasty. Some of those people just don't even look healthy.

Looking at that page that JustMe posted does not make them look very nice. Those girls are WAY too skinny. Gross.

It says at the top "the jeans that make you look skinny." Ummm, those girls are already skinny. :p How about some average/ above average size gals on the site!

 If you look closely, you'll notice it's the same girl in each picture. She didn't even bother to change her shoes. Aparently only one person looks good in skinny jeans.

This particular Tyra show was about camoflaging areas of your body that you are not particularl in love with. Such as wearing structured/princess seamed blouses to give the image of curves.

The "skinny" in the name of the jeans did not mean straight legged, skin tight skinny jeans. Just that the jeans are structured to give the rear end a smoother appearance - kinda like Spanx but built into the jeans.

I didn't look closely at the site. Tyra had a real plus sized woman before and after Hello Skinny jeans, and the woman looked more pulled together with the Hello jeans. She was not huge, but just looked smoother in those jeans. The jeans begin at size 24. So they are for plus sized women, not skinny women.

Guess I'll have to check out the website. Personally, being tall and somewhat large I would HAPPILY pay the price for a nice fitting pair of dress jeans. I don't believe I have ever had a pair of jeans that fit properly.

    That's a twenty-four inch waist, not a plus-sized size twenty-four.

You'd just assume they'd make these jeans for those who needed help in the "skinny" department. Size twos are not.

Never heard of this brand. I don't know if I'll ever spend this much on jeans as much as I wear them, but, I don't care for skinny styles anyway. Probably will pass on these.
