Taking a different thread in a new direction.

Before I had children, I had certain ideas about how to handle child raising scenarios. After children, I had to readjust some of those ideas.

    How about you?

Absolutely. As well, the older my children got, the more my views changed.

Some of us have had to adjust our scenarios from child to child!

Those of us blessed with a special needs child can see scenarios changing dramatically.

I'm going to be in the minority here and say "not really", but that's only because I have siblings that are much, much younger than I am, and was able to see more of the realities of raising kids long before I had my own, but before I had any real chance to form opinions on raising them.

Definitely! I'm also currently learning that what worked for one might not work for the other! It amazes me how different both my girls are, seeking as they are raised in the same house with the same expectations!

Most definitely. I was way too judgemental of other parents before DS came along.

Yes! I raised twin boys and they needed completely different parenting skills. However, 18 years later I was prepared for their ( surprise ) sister.
