https://www.teachingchannel.org/videos?categories=grades_k-2 I was looking for some resources for my tutoring student and came across this site. I don't know how I missed it in the past. The videos are wonderful and gave me great ideas for lessons.
Yes, this is golden! I learn so much better by seeing lessons in action than by reading a plan. Love it.
I have never even heard of it until now, but I'm already hooked...guess I know how the rest of my Saturday is going to go!
First I've heard of it too! Thanks for posting. I haven't had time to really expore it because I've been to the balloon races: but I know what I will be doing tonight in my hotel room while the yourger cousins continue to party!!!
Ooh, balloon races. Lucky you. Yeah, I'm going to be exploring tonight, too. It's so valuable to see videos of other teachers in their classrooms actually interacting with students.
Thank you for sharing this with us! I think one thing I regret about teaching is NEVER getting to visit other classrooms to see what works in action.
So funny--my department head was in the middle of "discovering" this website on Friday as I was walking by his office. He called me in to take a look at it because he thought it looked like a great resource. I guess it's catching on quickly!
I've been hooked on this website all day! In fact, I just emailed the link to the other teachers at my school. Thank you for sharing.
