Have you had a Donor's Choose project funded over the summer?

I've been very lucky in having many funded projects on Donor's Choose. I've never started a project during the summer, and I'm wondering if anyone has been successful in having one funded in the summer. Would it be better funding wise to wait until fall?

Thanks for any info you can give.

When I taught in public school, I got a total of 18 grants through Donors Choose, and 2 of them were over the summer. I only had one go unfunded, and that was during the regular school year.

Good to know. I'm going to start a couple projects right now. Thanks!

I just got one funded last week for 20 books. Donorschoose is waiting to send the items until school is back in session. I am okay with that. I am assuming I will see the items in late August or early September.
