    Hi all,
I am wondering how many of you don't use a handwriting program?

What do you do instead? I am looking for fun ways to teach the kids how to form letters, with out having to use the boring pen and paper program...

I'd love to hear what you do.
    Jamie :)

I give them different ways to practice their letters like writing them in shaving cream (or sand), using white boards, writing them in the air with fingers, using laminated mats of a letter outline and making play doh letters etc! When we do the paper and pen part i name the lines. I have a picture of a cowboy standing on the three line handwriting lines. The top one is the hat line, the middle dotted line is the belt line and the bottom is the boot line. It helps them know where to start their pencil! I hope this helps!
