My students are suppose to wash their hands as they enter the class each day. I have about 14 children coming in at the same time. How would you do this in your classroom? Thanks for your help!

Do you have an aide? I would make it the aide's job in the morning as they come in to usher them to the sink in your classroom and supervise handwashing.

Do you do a meeting first thing in the morning? Do the kids all come at the same time or stagger in? If they all come in at the same time, I'd have the sink be the first place they stop before they do anything or I'd have a meeting first thing in the morning and read a story and have them wash hands one at a time while I read the story.

Last year we had to do the same and my students arrived at the same time. I was fortunate to have 4 sinks in the room so parents supervised the students.
