For those of you who celebrate Halloween in your centers, I thought it would be fun to share our favorite Halloween snacks!

One year I made chocolate cupcakes with orange frosting, added licorice for the legs, m&ms for eyes and made spiders. They were very cute! I have also seen marshmellows dipped in white chocolate on sucker sticks to make ghosts! Does anyone else have any ideas?

We're making pumpkin pancakes for morning snack. In the afternoon we are having (if we can get them to turn out better than my trial run today) banana ghosts-- banana halves on sticks dipped in white chocolate with chocolate chip eyes-- and some pumpkin shaped sandwiches cut with a cookie cutter. Not sure if we will add some other food to our list. The kids are just 1 and tend to not eat much :)

My parents are bringing treats from home. We are having: cupcakes, sugar cookies, peanut butter cookies, ice cream, and drinks. :) I'm sugaring them up and sending them home. :)

I had a sign up sheet and the kids are all bringing "ingredients" to make a punch, a snack and put together our own goodie bags. We will just make our snack and punch before the "party" begins.

We are a "candy-free zone" so we will have other items in our goody bags. I also brought in some of the glow sticks and stickers for them. I figured I would line up piles of the goodie bag items and they can walk along and pick up one of each thing and put into their bag.

    For the Punch:
    1 2ltr. Sprite
    1 bottle Hawaian Punch
    1 container Rainbow Sherbert
    12 Holiday cups

For the Snack "Dirt & Worms":
    2 bags Gummy Worms
    1 bag Oreo Cookies
12-pack of Chocolate Pudding (or instant pudding and milk)
    12 Holiday plates & napkins

    For the Goodie Bags:
    12 Holiday pencils
    12 goodie bags
    12 Party Favors
    12 Party Favors

I have 12 kids, so it worked out that everyone could sign up to bring in one item. Some brought in extra things, such as a couple different types of party favors, or cheetos to have with snack.
