I recently saw these on Pinterest and wanted to make them. Anyone know what kind of paint to use?

I saw a pin the other day that used hand sanitizer as the pass. The kids put them on their desks when they go, then when they get back they USE the sanitizer and put it back. Love that one!

I'm probably going to get some craft paint...still trying to figure out exactly how I'm going to do it.

I love that idea, too. However, we are not allowed to have hand sanitizer outside of a locked drawer/cabinet. And I have to squirt it on their hands- they cannot do it their self. In 5th grade :banghead:

giraffe, same here. Although this year, we are not allowed to have ANY sanitizer at all. Something about the building being "green" and some state law...not sure, but seems ridiculous to me.

I'm not sure about the hand sanitizer one. The one I'm talking about brightly colored paint and clothespins. The kid takes a clothes pin from the board and puts it on his shirt. That way it is more sanitary instead of carrying around a hall pass. I was just trying to figure out what kind of paint to use.

Mrs. Leapfrog, do you happen to have a link where I could see this? I'm intrigued. :)

The clothes pin is what my CT used while I student taught.
She just had 2 tacks pushed into the door frame. They unclipped the pass, and went.

My bathroom passes DO NOT go to the bathroom with them!! Eeew! They put it on their desk and then go. It also allows me to see who is out if I forgot who I gave permission to

I made the "No Name" sign yesterday. I used a piece of mat board (something I had at home). The letters are vinyl I cut from the Cricut machine. I used ribbon and then painted the clothes pins and super glued them to the board. I have magnets on the back to hang on my white board. I think it turned out pretty cute! I like that version. I like that no wood or glue is involved. And that I already have all the supplies to make that one and dont need a trip to the craft store. :thumb::thanks:

When the scented hand sanitizers were just coming out, my niece was in kindergarten. Her teacher squirted her some hand sanitizer and she ate it! She was okay! But yah, fifth grade is kind of old, but I can see why they do that.
