So, I'm driving from work to a nursery to return some plants. I was on the freeway for about, oh, 10 minutes. Then, out of the corner of my eye, I look down and see something... GUESS!

I'm going with this guess...but if I found one of those on my leg while driving on the freeway I'd probably cause a pile-up. I'd really afraid of them.

    Isn't that a tarantula peachy?

I dumped a dozen crickets in my car yesterday when it tipped over and the top came off. Waste of good frog food - just hope they don't reproduce!

I had an observer from a local college come watch us last week and she spent the day with her back plastered against the wall, breathing deeply trying to calm herself down. She said she was taking a math and science for preschoolers class and had nearly passed out the night before when the professor brought out crickets for them to observe. Crickets? That's nothing! I had tadpoles, frogs, crickets, caterpillars, hissing coachroaches and.....3 ball pythons we had out of their cages. She thanked me for the growth experience - lol! I wonder if she will ever recover?

OMG Peachy!:eek::eek: I DESPISE spiders. I would have been beyond horrified & almost gotten into an accident! I would have stopped the car ASAP & ran out of the car. I don't know how you drove 60 min w/ it on your leg.

I'd rather the spider than the tick! Ticks are disease carriers! Although I'm SO not a fan of hairy spiders. I've had some houdini ones the last few days..Go to squash one..and there is nothing in the paper! And no bug to be found..so where does it go?!!!

I hate spiders. I used to be unphased, until late high school. I came home one night (after curfew) and walked through a spider web. Once I got in my room and turned on the lights, I found about fifteen small spiders on me. Couldn't ask for help to make sure they were all gone, because I didn't want my parents to notice I was late. I haven't been the same since.

    So, funny story....

Remember how I said I flung it off my leg. I had no idea where it went to. Well, my hubby and I needed to run to our nearby market so I could make dinner. I told him about the spider. He drove. I kept a lookout.

I wanted to check my hair as it gets pretty messy. I flipped up the sun visor to look at the mirror. You know where I'm going, right? Yup. There it was. Right above me, on the visor. I let out a squeal, yelled, "There it is!" He quickly pulled over, I jumped out. We managed to filing it out of my car. It had a little red dot on its back and wasn't nearly as big as I thought it was. Was still hairy and looked like it was on steroids.

That is the scariest thing I have ever heard in my entire life. I am deathly afraid of spiders. I panic, my chest tightens, I have a hard time breathing, and many times I cannot move. I would have crashed for sure. So glad its gone!!!!
