Just curious, are any of you alums from sororities or frats? Which one? Are you glad? My friends and I were talking about it today and I was wondering about the AZ community having "greek" members!
My husband was in a frat that went co-ed back in the 70's, and when I joined and we started dating, some of the brothers were quite scandalized! It no longer exists - it went bankrupt in the early 80's - but we still keep in touch with a small group of friends. Good times!
I am a Kappa Delta. I was a founding sister of our chapter - we were a small local chapter (that got away with a lot of "stuff!") and went national with KD.
Kappa Alpha Theta! ETA: Yes, I loved it! I don't live close enough to a college chapter, or I'd absolutely be involved as an adviser or help them in some other way. I would like to get involved in my local alumnae chapter since I just found out we had one!!
Alpha Sigma Phi Unfortunately, I left the university for medical reasons the same semester I pledged, so I didn't get to build the fraternal bonds as closely as I would have liked - even though I did go back and visit them a few times over the next couple of years. On a brighter note, I just recently found my Big Brother through FB after more than 25 years of searching.
