    Does anyone have a good site - to research grants to use in the classroom?

    You can create your own grants at donorschoose.org. I've never done it, but it seems like a pretty neat idea. Donor's can choose to fund your grant partially or fully.

    donorchoose.org is very easy. Myself and several colleagues have received grants this way. The only drawback at first is that you have a set maximum amount you can ask for and you have to use their vendors. They send you the items you asked for, then you take pics of students using them and send the pics back to them. It is all very easy.

    Try searching for education weekly grants. They have a grants site with TONS of possibilities. Each grant has a short description and deadline listed.
