Grant money? Ways to get individual money?

Hello all.

I am really interested in attending the IRA Convention in Chicago in April. My charter school is NOT really interested in paying for it, but I can probably get the time off.

Now. Anyone have any great ideas of how I can pay for it? Is there a site that lists small grants/awards for teachers? Any ideas?

Take a look at the convention application. It often has scholarship information.

 

donorschoose.com but that's usually for classroom materials and less for prof development.
