Our school is having Grandparent' Day tomorrow and they will only be in our room for less than an hour... and its first thing(8:10-9:00).... I find this isn't much time AND they may be trinkling in at diffferent times....
I was thinking of doing a scavenger hunt for them to do around the room and maybe the school... then the end would be donuts, coffee and juice in my room.... Then the students that didn't have a grandparent:( could still participate with a partner and be involved..

what do you think about this? Does anyone have another idea?

Too late now I guess, but why not keep it simple and do a craft with the grandparents.

Thanks so much for the advice.. the scavenger hunt was actually a great hit! The grandparents love it and so did the kids! I will probably do it every year now!

I would love a copy of this scavenger hunt you did.
