    Anybody use them?
According to the promos, they seem great. I've only had a bit of time to play around, and so far I haven't quite figured out how they work.

Has anyone made a classroom website using Google sites? How do you like it? Any tips?

Until now, I've dabbled in blogger and googlepages, and done fairly well with them though I didn't try anything fancy.

I can't help you but I'm interested in the responses! Our district switched to gmail and it would be easier if I just put my classroom website on Google sites. I too, haven't figured out how it works yet - that's my project for the summer (well, one of them)!

I use google sites for my eportfolio/website. It was very easy to set up and I love them!

I have used GooglePages to develop a professional development (technology) website for my school. I found it to be very user friendly and easy to navigate through.

My students even used GooglePages to create e-portfolios that showcased the different ways they used technology throughout the school year.

I would highly recommend GooglePages as a way to create a teacher website.

Just want to clarify that GooglePages and Google Sites are two different applications that work quite differently.

Anyone care to share a link to your creations?
SmallTown, what did you put in your eportfolio? I should probably develop one but I have no idea what to include.

    Thanks!
I see you also use the older google pages...
I guess the sites application must be pretty new still, people probably haven't had much of a chance to check it out yet. Maybe over the summer...

I'd also love to see some examples of Google Sites that teachers have made.
