A while ago, Ceaser753 started a folder in Google docs for us to share materials that we use in the classroom. I had to fix the file from the copy that I keep on my computer and many of the A to Z people did not get included in the new group. You can now self enroll by clicking on the link at the bottom of this post. If you like something and want to use it, make a copy of it. If you make significant changes to a document and want to share the changes with others, then share it under a different document name. I have been adding stuff daily so be sure to check the folder for changes. If you have questions about Google docs, ask away because there are many of us on the board who use it on a regular basis. If you are interested in looking at my personal folders on chemistry, physics, or physical science, then PM me your e-mail and I will share these folders with you. Since the latter are my personal working files, I will give you viewing privileges but not editing ones. If you share in the A to Z folder (the one listed below), you will have full editing privileges and are encouraged to add materials to these folders to share with others. https://docs.google.com/leaf?id=0B1HKCuHTNNr7NmNkYmUxMmItZTFlYy00YTUzLTk4ZjUtNzMwYWJhOWJjNDUy&hl=en
WOW WOW WOW - so many resources for FREE! I've never use google docs but will definitely be using them in the future. It's such a convenience being able to share & exchange ideas without too much hassle. Appreciate your hard work & willingness to share.
I am assuming since when I click on the link, I can access all the documents, I don't need to self enroll. Correct? So, how do I add my documents to Google Docs? Can I create a new file such as US History or World History? Thanks again Chem BTW is Ceasar Cassie? I think they are the same person and maybe made a user name change while I was gone last year???
Yes Ceaser is Cassie If you want to add documents, if they it into a older that is already there then you can add them to that folder. If you need to add a new folder then to so and add your documents. Sharing is what will continue it to grow so thanks for being willing to share.
I have never used Goggle Docs before so how do I add a document? I have quite a few I would like to add but I will have to add them when I am at school as they are all saved on my school server.
If you need to make a folder, you would do that first. Highlight the AtoZ folder. Go to Create New and choose folder. Name your folder and save. Then go to upload. Find the item on your hard drive and then go to the bottom and choose what folder the document from the designation folder and then hit Start Upload.
I uploaded a file to share but I don't see it. How do I upload & save to the folder I want? Sorry, new to google docs.
I just put a document in the A to Z folder to show how to save documents to Google Docs. It is located here: https://docs.google.com/#folders/fo...kYmUxMmItZTFlYy00YTUzLTk4ZjUtNzMwYWJhOWJjNDUy
This is awesome!!!!!!! Thanks a million for sharing. When school starts, perhaps I shall be able to reciprocate.
Wonderful resource, and thank you so much to all who have contributed! I've been looking through this for a while. Unfortunately this is dominating my Google Docs and I'm looking for a way to unsubscribe from this group. Anybody know how to do this?
I will have to look that up. I pay $5.00 per year for extra storage space so even with this file and 3 others that are at least that large or maybe larger, I am only using 7% of my storage space on Google Docs. It is $5.00 that is well spent. I will try to figure out how to unshare.
How can I stop receiving these documents in Google Docs? None of them apply to my teaching and it's cluttering up my box.
