Hi, I have already introduced myself in the introductions forum, but I wanted to do so in here as well. I'll be starting my first (paid :)) year teaching and it will be in Kindergarten! I'm so excited but very nervous as well! I've spent most of my time in the classroom in upper elementary so I feel a bit out of my element, although excited about the challenge! So, I hope I don't annoy anyone this year with what I know will be millions of questions!!

Kindergarten is the BEST. my advise is to invest in two Cd's 1. Keep on Singing by Jean Feldman and 2. Shake Rattle and Read by Jack Hartman. Having these two in my classroom has been a life saver many many many times. I have my fav songs on each one.

Take time to look each child in the eye each day and let them know you care.... the lessons will come as they should.
