Anybody can share links with interactive websites that are good for special ed population?
The only good one I know is starfall.com. Anybody knows other sites like Starfall?

My students enjoy Brainpop (.com). These are short videos on many different topics. This is not very similiar to Starfall but I thought I would share the site with you anyway since I find it useful. I have also found spellingcity(.com) to be helpful as well.
Hope these help! Sorry I am too new to post links.

I just read that Google made a software intending it for architects, but it became much more popular for their children when they started playing with it. The basic version is free, its called Google SketchUp.

my students enjoy listening to/looking at the student submissions on tarheelreader.org - the child voice is pretty easy to understand though high pitched and navigation is simple
I like that I can use the search tool so that it ties in with whatever we've got going on that week

Just found another one. http://www.symbolworld.org/ has interactive stories and learning activities that use picture symbols as well as the words.

    Great website!
