I know with all of you Disney officianados here you'd know. Are there any specials going on like the free dining plan if you make reservations? We're going to go in July, so we have a few weeks to make our reservations, but I'd like to get it out of the way ASAP.

Any specials or any place I should look for specials?

    Thanks!!

I don't know of any specials but wanted to let you know about the Youth Education classes that Alice has told me about. If you're traveling with a child between the ages of 6 and 17 there may be a class that child wants to take. The class is free (one adult attends with the child) and when you register you can purchase theme park tickets at a reduced price. Our 8 day park hopper/water parks added passes cost $210 each through the discount and the normal price is $330 without the water park or $385 with the water park ($275 without park hopper). So anyways there's a potential savings for you.

Here's a link with dates, classes and status as far as open or closed.

And here's the link that describes the program.

I have never been to Disney so I can't speak at all as to how the classes are, I just think it sounds very cool to take the class and then the ticket discount is an awesome added bonus.

Combine the last 2 posts and you can save some SERIOUS money :)

Here's another great discount to consider:

The Swan and Dolphin aren't Disney owned, though they're on Disney property. They're somethign like a 10 minute walk to International Gateway at Epcot. The magor downsides to the Swan or Dolphin are that:
    - you don't get Disney's Magical Express, the free ride to and from the airport
    - you're not elligible for the meal plan. (Though with YES tickets, you 're not elligilble anyway.)

Had we not lucked into a phenomenal discount (which, sadly, I'm not allowed to share) we were getting a Deluxe Alcove room at the Dolphin.

We have Disney points from our Disney Credit card that lets us stay on disney property for no charge....just our disney points. It'll pay for our room, tickets into the parks, and some food. Because of that, we'll be staying on Disney property.

Last time we stayed at the Caribbean Beach Hotel and loved it. This time I think we're either going to stay at Port Orleans(?) or the one that's a riverside hotel. Can't remember.

Thanks for the links. I'll have to check them out! :)
