I want to go back to school full time this fall. I am currently certified elementary K-6. My plan is to have special education added onto my certification.

What I'm wondering is....what type of student would I be considered? Post-baccalaureate, graduate?

If I take at least one graduate level course a semester/term, would I then be considered a graduate student?

Thanks in advance, just trying to figure out financial aid information:cool:

You are considered a post-baccalaureate student if you hold a Bachelor's degree and wish to continue your education for personal enrichment or to meet professional needs by pursuing a certificate, credential or second Bachelor's degree.

If you are pursuing a Masters degree or are enrolling in a graduate program, you would be a graduate student.

It depends on the program. The college I attended for my credential makes you register as a grad student, even though you're pursuing a credential rather than a Master's.
