I wanted to know if anyone has gone back to get their license and how the process was. I have a degree in music and currently teach in a preschool. I am interested in getting an El Em degree but it would require me to go back. Trying to weigh out if it would be worth it.

I went back to school for elementary after graduating with a history degree. It took me just over two years (five semesters) one of which was student teaching. Being a student again was not tough for me because I loved what I was doing. What I had a hard time with was finances. I had a lot of expenses that I hadn't had to deal with the first time around. Also, check that whatever program you are interested in is certified in your state. Some of the online ones won't work in certain states and they don't always make that super clear.
