Anybody watching the game? I'm pretending to. Football really isn't my cuppa tea but my husband and his friends are watching the game. I'm mostly grading tests , doing laundry....
I don't really care that much about football, but some big prizes in the school Superbowl pool so I'm just hoping my score hits....
I ended up winning $100 so I'll take it! The biggest winner who picked the correct final score ended up winning over $1500!! That's a lot for a teacher, and in fact, it was a teacher aide who ended up scooping it. Very low scoring game.
Yeah it was. Very high defense game. And man, I love Boston. The city is absolutely celebrating right now.

Go Patriots! I live in Australia and I wore my Patriots jersey to work today (Sunday for you guys is Monday for me) and the kids were rooting for my team to win too, even though most of them knew nothing about NFL! And we high fived each other when we won! It was a good day!
My husband and I used to go to parties to watch the game (I use the term "watch" very loosely lol). It was mostly just something to do. We don't have cable at home so I can't even watch it just for the commercials. I can see some of the commercials on Youtube anyway!
Ugh, Tom Brady is the GOAT. And not bad to look at either I bought his jersey right after they won the 2016 Superbowl. What a great investment!
I have a student who has been walking around for two days now calling Tom Brady a cheater and saying they needed to change the name to the Deflatriots.
Tell the student that when he brings his grades up, and plays pro ball he can talk all the junk he wants to talk. Until then, better hit them books.
