I'm not exactly doing a Christmas present for my mentor teacher, but I found a great place that does high tea service that I am taking her after the New Year. It's a lot of fun and one of the rules of tea time is that the conversation must be relaxed, so we have to discuss things BESIDES school!

Is anyone else doing something nice now that we're reaching the halfway point of our first year?

I gave him a visa gift card and he tried to give it back to me saying it wasn't necessary.. lol. thats the type of guy he is though.. completly selfless.

Needless to say I forced him to keep it :p

I didn't give anything to my mentor teacher: 1. turns out teachers don't really exchange gifts at my school, 2. as sweet as she is, I have another teacher that has helped me out more and is a friend now.

So the person I really consider my mentor (my co-grade teacher and friend) got a wonderful set of gifts from me yesterday, as she got me some cute little gifts, and we're planning a trip to NYC over our holiday break to find some cool stuff to do together :)
