Gifted SAT meeting

    Over here there aren't gifted programs in high schools, but Universities are more and more providing complementary programs for gifted/talented children, especially in the Sciences field. We have also Math/Physics/... Olympics, where the gifted on those areas are "tracked".

    You're right kinderkids. Over here the middle public schools' "answer" for special needed children is a so called alternative curriculum class. These kids are wasting their time in school...it's revolting.
    Wouldn't it be good if there were schools where the majority of kids were "special", therefore their needs were not forgotten, and this school would "include" and welcome other kids? And I'm not being ironic when I say this. I have talked about this once with my mother (a Sp Ed teacher) and we think it would be a great idea.
