    Hey-

I'm interviewing for a teaching position with gifted 2nd and/or 3rd graders. Any special things they may ask? I taught gifted kids last year but really I feel how you teach gifted kids and regular kids is the same aka best practice.

Asking deeper questions, offering choice, teaching to different learning styles, etc are not only good for gifted students but general ed too.

Any ideas of specific gifted ed questions would be helpful. I start my gifted ed courses this summer and they are aware of that. Thanks yet again!

Maybe juggling schedules with the students being in regular education classes part of the day....

They might want specific examples of how you would differentiate a certain topic or advanced level products the kids could incorporate. Maybe scenarios of dealing with issues that arise with parents.

Sounds like you have a pretty good understanding already. :)
