    Hi,

I am in Fremont and just started seeking job in the local school dist areas.

I got two interviews and haven't heard from any one of them yet. It is kind of frustrating indeed. I know that this mentality is childish. I do have to keep my consistency.

The first one was not good and didn't expect that much. The 2nd one was ok and it was on last Thursday. The principal told me that he would call me within 48 hours. Does that mean business hours or the weekend counts? So, should I consider till Monday? Do I ask him about the situation or just wait----

Give me some suggestions please regarding interviews.

    Thanks-- Basudha

I would assume 48 hours included two days in a row or else he probably would have said Monday. Again, I could be totally WRONG!!! When does school start there?

The school is starting from 27th Aug. The office is open. Should I ask or email the principal on Monday?

    Thanks-- Basudha

I know it is really hard to call-but I would do it if you haven't heard anything by say 10:30 on Monday. That would give him time to call if he is going to and it won't keep you hanging by the phone all day if he doesn't. I'll keep my fingers crossed for you!!!!!

I got an interview which says to get prepared for a teaching unit.

I will have to teach in front of them about my chosen topic. Do I have to take chirt/picture? Can I take colorful chalks with me to draw on board?
    Give me some tips please.

    Thanks-- Basudha
